The skin ageing process is dependent on several internal and external factors which determine how fast the skin ages and when wrinkles and volume loss start to appear. Internal factors include genetic disposition, the metabolism and the psyche; external factors include excessive exposure to sunlight, nicotine, gravity and the intensity of facial expressions.
Targeted treatment
Dermal fillers can be used for targeted treatment of wrinkles and scars, or even for filling and harmonisation of skin contours and for lips which are too narrow or which have developed a loss of volume. Because of their excellent tolerance Dirk Henrik Tschauder (MD) exclusively uses natural and resorbable, i.e. non-permanent fillers such as natural hyaluronic acid (for further information please see "Dermal Filler").
